Real World Revit Model Collaboration Techniques Presented by Rick Oehmcke & Sage Cowsert of PCS Structural and Jordan Kiel of Bassetti Architects
Rick from PCS will start off with an overview and talk about some best practices they have discovered on how Architects and Consultants effectively communicate with Revit models. Sage from PCS will review the procedures they use for preparing and linking in Architectural models into Revit Structure and discuss how the difference in workflows between disciplines are accommodated. Then Jordan from Bassetti will show how they link and manipulate the structural model data in Revit Architecture so they can leverage that content in their deliverable. Sage and Jordan will also share their experiences on the “what and when” of starting the model sharing process, controlling linked model visibility, coordinating views for QC, and who owns what in the model.
You’ll want to see this if you are doing, or are considering multi-discipline Revit model collaboration.
This presentation is suited for all AEC professionals using Revit.
