How to be on firm ground with Revit Site Tools by John Bund, Revit Manager and Instructor at DKA Architecture

Do you want to know how to keep your parking stall component from floating above the parking surface? How about isolating cut and fill evaluations within your site's boundaries? Do you want to show curbs as they are detailed around your drives or planters? And what about those pesky trees floating above the landscape area? These solutions as well as others will be discussed in this month's SeaRUG meeting.

Come visit with us as DKA Architecture's Revit Manager, John Bund, demonstrates the Revit Site Tools application. This presentation will help move you forward with your site plan development and construction drawings. Learn how you can drive the site solutions rather than working from site plans created in a 2D environment.

In addition DKA will present two of the most significant third party programs for Revit. Eagle Points Siteworks and LandCADD for Revit are developed specifically for architects and landscape architects in order to resolve the limitations of the current Revit site tools. John will discuss LandCADD and demonstrate a brief overview of Siteworks and how it interfaces with Revit.

This presentation is suited for all AEC professionals using Revit.

Please RSVP by noon on Monday, September 13, if you plan to attend, so we can have an accurate head count for lunch. You must be a registered member on the website to submit your RSVP. Please visit our website at www.searug.org for membership information and registration.

A special thanks goes to DKA Architecture and Eagle Point for sponsoring this month’s meeting space and lunch. Many thanks to John Bund for his presentation.
